
The province of Nova Scotia has conducted its first draw for the year 2020. It has issued invitations to apply for Nova Scotia provincial nomination to candidates who had profiles in the Express Entry system.
Candidates were invited through the Labor Market Priorities Stream of the Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program. In this draw, the french-speaking candidates were given preference. Express Entry candidates who had opted for French as their official language and have an 8 or higher Canadian Language Benchmark score in french in all four language abilities – Reading, writing, listening, and speaking were preferred.

A CLB score of at least 6 or higher in English was another requirement for the selection. In addition to this, a candidate must hold either a bachelor’s degree or three years or more completed program at any academic institution.
Also, candidates who have received invitations fulfilled all the requirements for the express entry system and had a valid express entry number.
