Start a new life in Saskatchewan - 205 Candidates Invited by SINP

The provinces of Canada have started conducting the regular draws despite the coronavirus turmoil. Immigration candidates must take this opportunity to move to Canada. Saskatchewan has invited 205 candidates to submit an application for a provincial nomination in the latest draw held on March 26. The invited candidates were not required to have a job offer, but having one year of work experience in a profession related to their field was mandatory. The province of Saskatchewan has invited candidates under its Occupations In-Demand category. Candidates who have received invitations had Educational Credential Assessments, a post-secondary degree from the province or they had a close family member staying in Saskatchewan. Around 71 occupations were selected in the Occupations In-Demand list. Some of these include corporate sales managers, college instructors, and medical laboratory technologists.

Saskatchewan Expression of Interest System

The first step in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) which acts as a confirmation of your choice to settle in Saskatchewan. Thereafter, the EOI profiles submitted by the candidates are reviewed by the immigration authorities of the province. A candidate is given a score out of 100 on the basis of his/her profile. The scoring system is administered by the subcategory of SNIP- International Skilled Worker (ISW). ISW has a Points Assessment Grid in which the scores are given by evaluating certain factors such as age, language proficiency, education, skilled work experience and connections to Saskatchewan. After this process, the highest-scoring candidates are invited to apply for the provincial nomination.

Candidates invited through Occupations In-Demand sub-category

Those candidates who do not have a profile in the express entry pool can apply for provincial nomination under this category. Saskatchewan has issued 205 invitations to the occupations In-demand candidates. They required a score of 75 points in the Points Assessment Grid in order to be invited by the province. So far, Saskatchewan has issued invitations to a total of 1124 candidates through the Occupations In-Demand sub-category. SINP’s Occupation In-Demand category helps those candidates immigrate to Canada who belong to a specific occupation. If you aspire to have a growth in your profession, you can consider applying to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.
