Express Entry BC
The Express Entry stream of British Columbia is associated with the federal Express Entry system. Potential candidates can apply to the BC PNP under the following categories of the Express Entry BC:-
- Skilled Workers;
- International Graduates;
- International post-graduates
Skills Immigration
The other immigration stream of the BC PNP is Skills Immigration. It is not linked with the federal express entry system. Skilled workers, International Graduates, and Post-graduates can apply through this stream if they are not linked with the express entry immigration system.How to apply for British Columbia PNP?
First, a candidate must register himself/herself under the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) of the British Columbia PNP. Then, he/she has to create a profile through the online portal in either of the categories – Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC. Candidates who apply through the Skills Immigration and Express Entry categories of BC are given points based on human capital factors as well as economic factors. The candidates are awarded points based on the following factors:- Skill level of the job offer
- Minimum wage
- Location of the employment
- Candidate’s education, work experience, and language ability
