Saskatchewan uses the Expression of Interest System and invites candidates through the subcategories of the ISW stream: Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry.
Candidates who received an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination had submitted their Educational Credential Assessments. And Occupation In-Demand candidates required to show work experience in one of the 63 occupations that are in demand in the province. (in-demand occupations are listed on the provincial government’s webpage).
Note: Candidates required an EOI score of a minimum of 70 in both streams.
Saskatchewan has now started distributing more points to bilingual candidates, that is, people who can speak both English and French are eligible to score more points in Saskatchewan’s points assessment grid.
