- Have valid document and paperwork of the professional experience
- Must provide proof of the current immigration status of where the candidate belongs.
- Meet the eligibility criteria in any one of the economic streams under the Express Entry System
- Should be financially potent for maintaining family’s welfare.
The process to apply for an NSNP application
The first and foremost step of being selected in the Province’s Labor Market Priorities Stream is to cross off everything that is required in the eligibility criteria list.
Following this, you are expected to create an Express Entry profile in the online portal. Building an Express Entry profile is highly beneficial as it affirms that Nova Scotia will now be able to choose you from the pool offering you an invitation, you shall also be liable to receive an ITA (Invitation to Apply) for a Permanent Residency status in Canada by the immigration department of Canada, IRCC.
Being in the Express Entry Pool a Letter of Interest will be offered to you by Nova Scotia Immigration Office that will send you an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination in the same province. Take note that the nomination certificate has an expiration date of six months. It starts at the moment of its being issued.
