Canada has invited 500 immigration candidates belonging to the Provincial Nominee Program class in the newest Express Entry Invitation Round.
Applicants who already had a provincial nomination were invited by IRCC to apply for Canada PR. A provincial nomination from any Canadian province was a mandatory requirement for securing an invitation. Also, candidates with a Comprehensive Ranking System score of 713 or higher have received invitations by IRCC. Express Entry candidates with a CRS score lower than 713 did not qualify to get an invitation.
The CRS score has gone down by 39 points in this PNP-specific draw as compared to the previous draw. The number of invitations issued has also dropped by 57.
PNP candidates who qualified for the minimum CRS score requirement and who submitted their profiles before 6th April 2021 at 09:50:14 UTC received an invite from IRCC.
Express Entry in 2021
Canada has set the target of welcoming around 108,500 new permanent residents primarily through the programs managed by the Express Entry Immigration System. As of today, IRCC has already issued 68,817 invitations to express entry candidates.
