Express Entry draws are held regularly throughout Canada. The most recent one was held on October 26th for all programs.
The ninth drawing has taken place since all-program drawings resumed on July 6.
Approximately 4,750 applicants with CRS scores of 496 or higher received invitations. In addition to invitations from the FSWP, FSTP, and CEC were issued by IRCC.
Express Entry is the framework used by all of these initiatives.
From December 2020, all Express Entry draw dates have been paused for more than 18 months. The only people who received ITA during the hiatus were those with qualifying qualifications for CEC or PNP.
Until this draw, the Express Entry CRS score had never fallen below 500 since drawings resumed. The Last time this low was reached was on December 23, 2020, with a score of 468. The backlog of applications for permanent residence was prevented from growing by halting all-program Express Entry draws following that draw.
IRCC has been able to issue ITAs more frequently by decreasing the CRS score during the eight previous drawings where candidates increased as the score declined.
A 2023-2025 Immigration Levels Plan is expected soon
CRS has never gone below 500 since drawings resumed. The previous low score occurred on December 23, 2020, when it was 468. To prevent a backlog of applications for permanent residence from growing. All-program Express Entry draws were halted following the previous draw.
By reducing the CRS score, IRCC is able to issue more ITAs by increasing the number of candidates in the eight prior drawings.
Express Entry – What is it?
The Express Entry program makes immigrating to Canada as easy as possible. It does not imply, however, that everyone who wishes to immigrate to Canada can use Express Entry. Express Entry may be a good option for you and, if applicable, your family, to immigrate to Canada based on the information provided here.
Families and individuals from all over the world can submit an application for permanent residence in Canada within a short period of time thanks to the Express Entry immigration screening procedure.
Professionals who want to settle in Canada can apply through Express Entry, a points-based program. A professional’s points depend on their qualifications, experience, their work status. As well as whether they have been nominated by their province or territory. You are more likely to receive a permanent residency invitation (ITA) the higher your points total. It usually takes 6 to 12 months for PR applications submitted this way to be processed.
