AINP Latest Draw
In the recent AINP draw, Alberta invited 191 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for becoming a permanent resident. Candidates were invited through the Alberta Express Entry Stream, which means, only those candidates received invitations who had profiles in the Express Entry System with a CRS score of 300 and above. Express Entry candidates who secure a nomination in any Provincial Nominee Draw gets 600 extra points added to their CRS score. Since the coronavirus pandemic is still there, Alberta has invited only those candidates to apply for a provincial nomination who are already staying in the province. Although it is not mandatory to have a job offer if applying through the Alberta Express Entry Stream, it is preferable to have one in order to increase your chance of receiving an invitation. Also Read: Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) – Gateway to move to Canada Also, the province will accept the copies of documents and if the candidate is fulfilling all the necessary requirements, his or her file will be kept on hold for a period of 60 days. AINP has held ten Alberta Express Entry Stream draws this year with inviting around 1,598 express entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. The province issued as many as 6,884 invitations last year. The total allocations set for Alberta’s provincial nomination for 2020 are yet to be disclosed.What are your chances to qualify for AINP?
Each province prefers to select candidates with the right skills required for their economy. Likewise, each province has its own preference for the selection of candidates.Following candidates are preferred by the AINP:
- Candidates who have a job offer in Alberta
- Candidates with genuine work experience
- Candidates with a degree from a Canadian post-secondary academic institution
- Candidates who have a parent, child or sibling living in Alberta
