Two provinces in Canada issued invitations in the latest draws. From April 6 to 12, Newfoundland and Labrador and New Brunswick invited candidates through their provincial immigration programs. Let’s look at what each province announced.
Provincial Immigration Results (April 6 – 12)
Two provinces in Canada issued invitations in the latest draws. Below are the results for the same.
Newfoundland and Labrador
On April 8, Newfoundland and Labrador issued its first invitations through a new online Expression of Interest (EOI) system that launched in February 2025.
Total Invitations Issued: 256
- Newfounland & Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) – 206 invitations
- Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) – 50 invitations
This draw focused on:
- Candidates with full-time job offers in high-demand sectors
- Individuals already living in the province
- People with offers in rural or remote areas

Under the new EOI system, candidates first submit a profile and wait to be selected before applying. The province says this new system is better aligned with its job market needs and limited federal immigration spaces.
