Revised Immigration Fee for Quebec Immigration in 2021

The province of Quebec has increased its processing fees for immigrants this year. The changes have been implemented from January 1, 2021. The immigration fee increment takes place every year depending on the annual change that takes place in the consumer price index. The following are the changes in the immigration processing fees:

Principal applicants who apply to immigrate to Quebec as skilled workers have to pay an immigration fee of $822 now. Last year, the fee was $812.
If the principal applicant is including a family member in the immigration application, the fee for each family member is $176.
The total fee for confirming the validity of a permanent job offer is $205.
Principal business applicants such as Entrepreneurs have to pay an immigration fee of $15,962 and Investors, and Self-employed workers are required to pay $1,113.
International students and temporary workers coming to Quebec have to submit an immigration fee of $205.

The above-mentioned fees are only for the processing of immigration applications. So, it is quite a possibility that immigration candidates pay for some other things, such as translations, the additional cost of supporting documents, translation, or language tests. In addition, Quebec has made some changes to the Quebec Experience Program and the International Student Program. Now, it will become mandatory for immigrants to submit applications electronically only. After 26th January 2021, Quebec will not accept any paper-based application.
