Canada invites Canadian Experience Class candidates through another Express Entry draw conducted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). In the latest invitation round, the department issued 2,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence to eligible candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
The draw took place on July 21, 2026, and continued Canada’s focus on selecting candidates who already have work experience in the country. Throughout 2026, many Express Entry draws have targeted applicants with strong ties to Canada, including those with Canadian work experience or a provincial nomination.
To receive an invitation in this draw, candidates had to meet the following requirements:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 516; and
- An Express Entry profile created before 5:33 p.m. Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on May 26, 2026.
