In the latest draw, Ontario has issued invitations to French-speaking and Skilled trades express entry candidates. The province invited these candidates through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program on November 4. Ontario sent invitations through the two express entry aligned streams:
Skilled Trades Stream and
French-speaking Skilled Worker stream.
The government ranks candidates based on human capital factors that would help them grow economically, such as education, age, work experience, language abilities. The province will contact the invited candidates and will give them 45 days to submit their complete provincial nomination application. Candidates can submit the application online and make a payment of $1,500 CAD online. The province accepts Visa Debit, Mastercard, Visa, and Mastercard debit.
Apply through the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream
Ontario has an Express Entry aligned stream for candidates who speak both English and French. To apply through this stream, candidates should meet the eligibility criteria either for Federal Skilled Worker Program or for the Canadian Experience Class.Candidates require a Canadian Language Benchmark of a minimum of seven in French and at least a six in English.
Ontario Skilled Trades stream
Skilled trades workers who have full-time work experience of at least one year can apply to the OINP under this stream. The skilled trades that are eligible should be included in Minor Group 633 of the NOC, or Major Groups: 72, 73, or 82.
