Latest Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draw

Manitoba has held the newest MPNP draw on November 5 by inviting 205 immigration candidates. The total number of invitations issued by the province of Manitoba this year has become 4,273 including the results of this draw. The province has sent Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for a provincial nomination through the following three categories:

Skilled workers in Manitoba – 166

Skilled workers Overseas – 16

International Education Stream – 23

Skilled workers in Manitoba required a minimum score of 461 in order to be invited by the province. The minimum score for Skilled workers overseas was 708. Out of the total 205 invitations, seven were issued to candidates having Express Entry profiles. However, candidates were required to have a valid Express Entry ID, a legitimate validation code as a job seeker, and work experience in one of the eligible In-Demand Occupations of the province. In some cases, it is observed that despite scoring higher than the minimum EOI score, candidates do not get an LAA from the province. The reasons could be:

The test number for the third party language test was not valid;
The validity of the language test results expired;
The candidate did not convey the correct invitation number.

So, candidates with high EOI scores who have not received invitations can update their profiles with the latest information so that they can be considered for the next MPNP draw.
