Canada has welcomed 4,500 candidates to submit an application for PR in Canada in the latest Express Entry Draw. This is for the third time that Canada has issued the largest number of invitations since February this year.
The Comprehensive Ranking System score has gone up in this draw and express entry candidates required a minimum CRS score of 478 in this draw.
CRS score depends on certain human capital factors such as age, education, work experience, Canadian certificate of education, and language proficiency.
A job offer from a Canadian employer is not a mandatory requirement to apply under the Express Entry system. However, it does give the advantage of securing extra points.
Also, express entry candidates who speak French are now eligible to secure more points in the CRS score as per the recent changes. French-speaking candidates will now get 25 points while bilingual candidates are eligible to get 50 points.
