MPNP never fails to make a hit, issues 183 invitations in the latest draw

Manitoba has a highly rated nominee program: Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), which makes it a popular province to migrate. On 19th December, 183 skilled workers and international graduates have been invited by Manitoba to apply for the provincial nomination. Candidates are given Letters of advice to apply (LAAs) and are invited through three major immigration streams of Manitoba PNP.

The distribution of the invited candidates in each stream is given below:

Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 149
Skilled Workers Overseas: 17
International Education Stream: 17

Out of these 183 invitations, 16 invitations are assigned to those candidates who had submitted a profile in the Express Entry pool. The Express Entry System is a simple process that is established for the selection of skilled workers. It covers the following economy class programs:

The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW);
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FTP);
Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Candidates who have submitted their profiles in the express entry pool are selected on the basis of a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. The CRS score depends on parameters such as age, educational qualification, work experience, and language ability. Besides, an additional 600 points are given to those Express Entry candidates who are nominated by a province. This ultimately increases their chances to become a permanent resident. Express Entry candidates should note that they must possess a valid Express Entry ID, job seeker validation code and legitimate work experience to apply for provincial nomination.

Submission of an Expression of Interest:

When a candidate is submitting an Expression of Interest, he needs to answer a set of questions. Based on the answers given by the applicant in this questionnaire, an online profile is created. It is according to this profile that a candidate is awarded a score out of a total score of 1,000. A Candidate who has an impressive profile gets highest-score. The Manitoba province then sends invitations to the highest-scoring candidates.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba:

Skilled Worker in Manitoba is one of the three immigration streams which allows selecting foreign nationals with a striking profile. The selected candidates should be working in Manitoba in order to receive an invitation to apply for the provincial nomination. Lately, 149 Skilled Workers in Manitoba have been invited to apply for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.

Skilled Worker Overseas:

Candidates who are favored with some connection to Manitoba have a fair chance of receiving an invitation via Skilled Worker Overseas Category. This connection can be in terms of education, previous work experience in the province, or close family members. It is not necessary for applicants to be present in Manitoba at the time of submitting their applications if they are applying through the Skilled worker overseas stream.

International Education Stream:

It is a new measure initiated particularly for the international students who graduate from the Manitoba province. With the help of this program, students can get a faster track to the nomination.
