Since August, IRCC has consistently held one CEC-specific draw each month, showing a steady approach toward candidates with Canadian work experience.
The October 1 draw followed a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on September 29, a Trades category draw on September 18, and an Education category draw on September 17.

With Express Entry draws continuing regularly, the Canadian Experience Class remains a strong option for candidates with Canadian work experience looking to secure permanent residency.
The repeated CRS cut-off of 534 suggests a consistent threshold, giving CEC candidates a clearer picture of the competitiveness required to receive an ITA.
As IRCC balances its immigration targets, French speakers, CEC candidates, and key occupations continue to be the main focus of Express Entry draws in 2025.
