Alberta Express Entry stream
Initially, you can plan to immigrate to the province of Alberta with the help of the Alberta Express Entry Stream. For this, the candidate has to invest in making a Profile for Express Entry.
As we know that the Express Entry is a government-operated system, that has three economic-focused programs. CEC, FSWP, and FSTP respectively.
Once the candidate is qualified for the system of Express Entry they will be granted a CRS score sheet and get points that will be depending on work, education, proficiency in English and French languages, and various other factors.
The immigration department of Canada is dedicated to holding draws of Express Entry and calling in the highest scorers. These high scorers will be lured to apply for a Permanent residency in Canada status.
Possibly, one can immigrate through the Express Entry system even getting a PNP. The good thing about getting nominated is that the candidate gets an automatic score credential of 600 CRS points so even if the candidate who has scored the least gets in the latest Alberta draw, their new score after getting a PNP will be 951 points.
Eligibility criteria of the Alberta Express Entry Stream
The only eligibility criteria for this stream are to have work experience in a valid job profile.
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program does not have a list that contains the names of all the occupations that are required for the stream. Out of many who apply for this particular stream are mostly transport truck drivers, and chefs, etc. The website of the government indicates that these applications may take more time to process since there are so many applications lined up.
There exist external factors too that help you to be nominated for example having occupational experience, educational experience, and having a full-time job in Alberta. If you have a blood relative for example a parent or a sibling, it is more favorable.
The candidate can meet all the eligibility requirements for the Express Entry and also the least score is to be 300. The candidate will be notified with a Notification of Interest and it will be stated in the profile that they are interested in moving to the province of Alberta forever.
What happens after getting the NOI?
After receiving the NOI the candidate applies for a PNP from Alberta.
Once you get nominated, you will get a 600 CRS score additionally. The candidate gets an Invitation to Apply in the next Express Entry draw and then the next step is to apply for a Canadian Immigration.
