British Columbia has been actively conducting regular draws even during the pandemic. The province held a Provincial Nominee Program draw on October 20. It has invited 100 immigration candidates through the BC Provincial Nominee Program.
The province of British Columbia is known to offer a high standard of living. It is a growing economy that has opened up jobs in various sectors.
The British Columbia PNP sent 80 invitations under the Skilled Worker and International Graduates categories of the Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration streams.
In each category, candidates required a provincial score of 80 to receive an invitation from the province and apply for a British Columbia provincial nomination.
The province issued 20 invitations to people registered with the Entrepreneur Immigration program. Out of the 20 invitations, 15 went to the Base Category of Entrepreneur program and 5 people were invited through the Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot. For the base category, Candidates required a minimum provincial score of 122 and for the Regional Pilot, candidates with a score of 109 received invitation.
British Columbia PNP held its largest draw of 2020 on September 29 by issuing 450 invitations.
