Breaking news: Alberta conducts draw after 7 months

The province of Alberta has released the details of the Provincial Nominee Program draw that it conducted on 8th January after a long gap of nearly 7 months. The province has invited 50 Express Entry candidates in the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program draw. It issued invitations to candidates listed under the Express Entry Stream. Candidates invited by Alberta in this draw required to have a legitimate express entry profile and they needed to have a Comprehensive Ranking System score of a minimum of 406. In the previous year, the CRS score requirement for the AINP remained in the range of 300 to 350. However, in this draw, the CRS score requirement has gone considerably up. Invited candidates have a chance to get a provincial nomination from Alberta and with that nomination, they can easily for Canada PR.

Outline of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program

The AINP is dedicated to the western province of Canada, Alberta. It allows the province to issue an Alberta provincial nomination certificate to those immigration candidates who meet the labor market needs of the province.
