Alberta PNP invites construction workers in the latest draw, i.e., on July 25, Alberta’s provincial nominee program, known as the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), issued fresh invitations to candidates seeking permanent residence through provincial nomination.
This draw targeted individuals with skills relevant to Alberta’s workforce needs—specifically those in the construction sector.
Draw Results
Alberta’s latest immigration draw was conducted under the Alberta Express Entry Stream, with a specific focus on construction occupations that are in high demand.
In total, 39 individuals with valid Express Entry profiles were invited to apply for a provincial nomination, helping address shortages in Alberta’s construction industry.
| Draw Category | Number Of Invitations Issued | Cut-Off Score |
| Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Construction) | 39 | 66 |
This draw targeted candidates whose primary occupation matched one of Alberta’s eligible construction roles listed in their Express Entry profile.
If a candidate had a job offer in Alberta, it had to align with an occupation deemed eligible under the construction category.
You can check the current list of eligible occupations in construction on the official Alberta government website.
Earlier this year, Alberta confirmed its plan to issue invitations through its three key Express Entry pathways throughout 2025. These pathways continue to focus on attracting talent from sectors vital to Alberta’s economy.
The four priority sectors under the Alberta Express Entry Stream include construction, agriculture, aviation, and healthcare.
