Express Entry
The Express Entry of Canada is a management system that looks after the three immigration programs made for skilled workers by the federal government
- CEC- Canadian Experience Class
- FSTP- Federal Skilled Trades Program
- FSWP- Federal Skilled Worker Program
The candidates who submit their application in the online profile of the Express Entry digital portal, are ranked based on the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System). These points are awarded for human capital factors. Only the candidates who score the highest get invitations to apply for a Canadian PR via draws of the Express Entry.
A candidate can not apply for a PNP and directly apply for the Express Entry System in order to immigrate to Canada. Express Entry is a direct and efficient pathway to enter Canada. Nevertheless, getting nominated for a PNP shall grant 600 CRS points automatically to the candidate and enables him to get an Invitation to Apply in the following draw of Express Entry.
Manitoba immigration programs
Various immigration streams and programs are managed by Manitoba PNP. It aims to support the applications of the candidate to the government of Canada. The provinces of Canada are not vested with the power to grant the status of permanent residency, but they can surely contribute by providing a nomination by the PNP.
To be eligible for a provincial nomination, the candidates are required to register themselves in the online portal for the EOI Expression of Interest. This will enable you to get an LAA from Skilled Workers International and Skilled Workers in Manitoba streams.
The candidates are then ranked by the province with a point score out of 1,000 for factors such as age, work experience, education, and various factors that also include having a connection with the province.
The province seeks professional workers who are experts in the field that is needed to fill the labor market gap in n the province.
If the candidates have a connection in Manitoba across international boundaries, they must have someone close to them living in Manitoba like a family member. A past experience in the province will also be considered a golden chance.
Also, the candidate must have an employment opportunity from an employer or an organization that is legit in order to be able to get an ITA for Skilled Worker in Manitoba.
Foreign graduates who have already completed their degree of education in the province of Manitoba can get an invitation to International Education Stream if they prove to have the skill set that is needed by the province of Manitoba.
