Express Entry is an economic pathway the helps skilled professionals to move to Canada as permanent residents. There are three programs that come under this system. The first one is, Federal skilled Trades program FSTP, then the Federal Skilled workers program FSWP, and lastly, CEC (Canadian Experience Class).
All those who submit their profiles in the Express Entry system are analyzed and ranked on the basis of their background factors by a system called the CRS, Comprehensive Ranking System. The factors that are taken into consideration while ranking the profiles are age, education, professional experience, ability to converse and understand English and French, and so on. The candidates who score the highest are awarded invitations that help them to apply for a permanent residency through the frequent draws held by the Express Entry.

Candidates are ranked on the basis of 1,000 points that are determined by using their human capital factors as their connections in the province already.
These streams, Skilled workers overseas and Skilled workers in Manitoba are designed especially for the province to nominate only those candidates who have the potential to flourish in the province of Manitoba.
The connections are needed to be demonstrated by the candidates. The connections and ties can be like a relative living in the province of Manitoba or having a living experience in Manitoba already. There also can be an invitation through Manitoba’s strategic recruitment initiatives. It is not necessary that a candidate has to be staying in Manitoba in order to make themselves eligible for the application.
