Canada’s PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) released more than 3000 invitations to register for a provincial nomination in the previous month’s draw.
Under the fundamental principles of Canada, the federal government and one and all territories and provinces organized the provincial nominee program jointly. As such the PNP allow provinces and territories to nominate candidates who want to settle in Canada and meet their labor market needs and economic development objectives.
The PNP was launched in 1998 by the province of Canada to expand the advantages of migration across Canada. Before the establishment of the PNP (Provincial Nominee Program), most migrants settled in ruler areas such as Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia (BC). Nowadays, PNP become a remarkable share of economic migration to every territory and province of Canada.
In fact, many smaller Canadian provinces have a wide distribution of migration over the country followed by Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador, and Saskatchewan. Express Entry align PNPs
Each PNP has at least one migration stream that is linked with the Express Entry system which is an online application administration system that administers three migration programs. Those programs are given below:
- FSWP (Federal Skilled Workers Program)
- CEC (Canadian Experience Class)
- FSTP (Federal Skilled Trade Program)
Express Entry aligned streams are called “enhanced” PNP as well. The advantages of these streams are that candidates can obtain 600 CRS marks. This score substantially escalates the chances to obtain a permanent residence status in Canada under Express Entry programs.
1568 Candidates are invited to apply in two different PNP-specific Express Entry draws in June. Currently, the Express Entry draw for FSWP and CEC candidates are paused to reduce the Express Entry backlogs. The backlogs have been increased due to the administrative challenges accelerated by the pandemic.
Alberta draw result
In June, Alberta release its details of the latest PNP draw result. The province conducts its draw through AAIP (Alberta Advantage Immigration Program). There are 150 applicants are selected for a provincial nomination on 16 June under the Express Entry stream of Alberta. Selected candidates required a minimum of 306 CRS scores in order to be qualified.
British Columbia draw the result
British Columbia held its weekly draw and invites those candidates who scored higher through the BC PNP (British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program). Applicants can apply for the provincial nomination under the stream of Skills Immigration, Tech, Express Entry British Columbia, and Entrepreneur Regional Pilot. British Columbia conducts draw for those applicants whose profession had been recognized as a priority as well. Over 600 migration applicants are invited from British Columbia in June.
Manitoba draw result
There are three streams through which the province of Manitoba release invitations those streams are: Skilled workers Overseas, International Education Stream, and Skilled workers in Manitoba. The previous month the province conduct only one draw. 146 applicants who had a profile in the Express Entry pool obtained an invitation. The Skilled worker in the Manitoba stream is excluded from this draw.
A special migration was conducted for the Ukrainians. Manitoba sometimes conducts EOI draws as well for those people who fulfill the eligibility criteria of MPNP and are pretentious by the present situation in Ukraine.
Ontario draw result
The province of Ontario issued the details of its PNP draw result. Ontario invites applicants through OINP (Ontario Provincial Nominee Program) which was conducted in June. Two draws were conducted via the Express Entry draw of Ontario which was French-Speaking Skilled Worker (FSSW). There are 153 applicants who are invited to the first draw which was conducted on 9 June. Applicants have scored a minimum of 481 or higher. There are 356 applicants who are invited to the second draw which was conducted on 21 June, in this draw applicants have to score a minimum of 440 or higher to be qualified.
1,721 applicants are invited from some specified employer job offer such as Skills In-Demand, Foreign Worker, and foreign students as. Ph.D. Graduates and Master Graduate Streams are also invited. These draws took place on 1 and 29 June.
Additionally, ONIP announced that it had obtained its 2022 nomination allotment from the government of federal.
Prince Edward Island draws result
The draw of PEI PNP (Prince Edward Island Provincial Nomination Program) is arranged in advance and conducted once a month. There are 127 applicants who were invited to the Express Entry Stream of labor impact and 9 applicants from the stream of Business Impact through the PEI PNP which was conducted on 16 June by the province.
