Immigration streams under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program
Skilled Worker in Manitoba
It is one of the three immigration streams under MPNP through which foreign workers with the right skills are selected. The selected candidates should be working in Manitoba in order to receive an invitation to apply for MPNP.
Skilled Worker Overseas
Candidates having some connection to Manitoba have a chance of receiving an invitation via the Skilled Worker Overseas Category. This connection can be related to previous work experience in the province, close family members, or education.
If a candidate is applying through the skilled worker overseas stream, it is not mandatory for him/her to be physically present in Manitoba while submitting an application. He/She can apply from any part of the world.
International Education Stream
International Education Stream (IES) is dedicated especially to recent graduates. It provides a platform for them to settle in Manitoba permanently.
IES provides three pathways for a student to apply for a provincial nomination:
- Career Employment Pathway;
- Graduate Internship Pathway; and
- International Student Entrepreneur Pilot.
