- Category: Skilled Worker Overseas
- Number of invitations: 1,140
- Score requirement: 557
Manitoba invited 1,107 immigration candidates in the last month’s draw. So, this MPNP draw was larger than the previous one. Invited candidates must have submitted an Expression of Interest to Manitoba in order to receive a Letter of Advice to Apply for provincial nomination.
The score requirement for candidates in this draw is based on the province’s EOI scoring matrix.
Candidates who successfully secure a provincial nomination through MPNP become eligible to get 600 additional points. These extra points are very beneficial for receiving an ITA whenever the IRCC conducts an express entry draw.
Skilled Workers Overseas
Manitoba selects internationally trained workers depending on the demand of employers in the province and nominates them for Permanent Residence.
Candidates having a strong connection with Manitoba are eligible to apply for the Skilled Workers Overseas stream. The connection can be in terms of education, previous work experience in Manitoba, or close family ties. With this new draw, the number of invitations issued by Manitoba has reached 6,139 this year.
