Alberta and BC released the result of the latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw, during the last week.
Canada’s most of the territories and provinces (except Quebec & Nunavut) control their own PNP draw. Those applicants who are interested must be qualified to be invited for the provincial nomination by these programs of PNP. Despite the fact that provincial nomination is not as homogeneous as a permanent residence but it increases the chance of getting permanent residence status in Canada.
For example, those PNP applicants who have their profile in Express Entry will automatically receive 600 points which are added to their score. They become qualified to be invited to apply for an invitation to a PNP-specific round as well. There are 636 PNP candidates invited to apply in the latest PNP draw which was conducted on 22 July with a minimum CRS score of 752.
