Canada intends to initiate this program to offer Canadians and other stakeholders an opportunity to express their views and ideas on how to enhance and make the immigration system more adaptable to meet Canada’s future needs. Furthermore, the first in-person dialogue session occurred in Halifax yesterday as part of the initiative. To capture a wide range of perspectives, the “An Immigration System for Canada’s Future” initiative has been designed to allow all levels of business, post-secondary institutions, settlement organizations, government, relevant sectors in Canada, and clients to contribute their ideas and input.
A representative of the Canadian government stated that this initiative would generally include additional in-person dialogue sessions. As well as “thematic workshops for the public and a survey for clients.”
