As a result, the government believes that public input will be essential in this initiative.
Canada’s new initiative in more detail
Canada intends to initiate this program to offer Canadians and other stakeholders an opportunity to express their views and ideas on how to enhance and make the immigration system more adaptable to meet Canada’s future needs. Furthermore, the first in-person dialogue session occurred in Halifax yesterday as part of the initiative. The program’s primary objective is to establish a stronger and more responsive immigration system. As well as it is tailored to the requirements of Canada’s communities. The initiative seeks to promote collaboration and encourage public engagement to achieve this goal.
To capture a wide range of perspectives, the “An Immigration System for Canada’s Future” initiative has been designed to allow all levels of business, post-secondary institutions, settlement organizations, government, relevant sectors in Canada, and clients to contribute their ideas and input.
A representative of the Canadian government stated that this initiative would generally include additional in-person dialogue sessions. As well as “thematic workshops for the public and a survey for clients.”
