Manitoba has issued record-breaking invitations in the newest PNP draw. The province has invited 1,017 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has issued invitations to express entry applicants having a job seeker validation code and a credible Express Entry ID.
The major highlight of this MPNP draw was that the province did not include all three immigration streams. Manitoba invited candidates belonging to the Skilled Worker Overseas stream.
Candidates who received a Letter of Advice to Apply for the provincial nomination had already submitted their profiles under the Expression of Interest system.
Immigration candidates should note that even though the province invited people having express entry profiles, there was no need for a CRS score. Because the province has its scoring system for PNP draw. Candidates required an EOI score of a minimum of 565 points as per the province’s scoring system.
Invited candidates can apply for Canada PR once they successfully secure a nomination. Since they are eligible to get 600 additional points after the nomination, this increases their chances of securing permanent residence.
Skilled Worker Overseas: Candidates having a strong connection with Manitoba have can apply under this stream. The connection can be in terms of education, previous work experience in Manitoba, or close family ties.
