Three Canadian provinces Ontario, Manitoba, and British Columbia issued the first PNP results of 2024 and invited the qualified applicants.
Provincial governments can evaluate and select economic immigration candidates according to how well they fit into the local labor force and economy through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This makes it easier for newcomers to integrate economically into the province and frequently leads to a better retention rate.
There are distinct streams under each province’s PNP that are intended to draw applicants with different qualifications or characteristics. Ontario, for example, has expanded the requirements for eligibility for the International Graduate stream. This extension now includes candidates who have finished a full year of study at an approved educational facility located inside the province.
Canada intends to accept 110,000 new permanent residents under the PNP in 2024, as per the Immigration Levels Plan for 2024–2026. This is justified by the cooperative efforts of the federal and local governments to control immigration. Provinces are awarded nomination slots by IRCC every year. The IRCC takes into account various variables like the population at the time of the nomination, infrastructure, labor force requirements, and the accessibility of settlement services.
Except for Quebec and Nunavut, all Canadian provinces and territories provide PNP programs and streams. Quebec and the federal government have a separate accord.

It has a minimum score requirement of 40 or higher.
