The government of both countries launched these programs on October 22, for the visitors coming to Canada had to be quarantined for 14 days. Guidelines were used practically and strategically to increase the testing of covid 19 and to reduce the quarantine period.
COVID-19 testing had started at two airports, one was the Coutts land border crossing, and the second, in the province of Alberta, the Calgary International Airport. Travelers had to undergo the COVID-19 test before entering Canada. After that, they had to follow the quarantine process. If the report comes negative then they are allowed to leave their quarantine place and the second test once again after six days.
The healthcare team is participating in this program to observe their health through daily check-ups. They have to wear masks in crowded and public places and avoid visiting highly crowded areas.
The Ontario government is providing free testing for COVID-19 at the (Toronto Pearson International Airport) for international visitors. They launched the screening pilot project on January 7, in which a negative covid 19 test report is compulsory for students visiting Canada
Doug Ford ( premier of Ontario) officially started the covid 19 test at Pearson Airports, on January 6. It is counted among the busiest airports in Canada.
