Last week Canada’s two provinces British Colombia and Ontario release their latest PNP draw updates.
Apart from Nunavut and Quebec each province of Canada controls its PNP draw by itself. Individuals who want to come to Canada can submit the application form through these programs.
Only 400 immigration applications were accepted when the PNP was first launched in 1998. Nevertheless, it was a huge success, and as a result, Canada today accepts over 80,000 immigrants annually through PNPs. Because Canada’s both the provincial and Federal governments view the PNP as a powerful method for increasing the nation’s economic development, the number of PNP admissions has increased.

About Express Entry and PNP
Candidates for the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trade Program, and Canadian Experience class are ranked and evaluated using the application management system known as Express Entry. Candidates for these programs undergo a group, where they are compared to one another using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). They receive a score from the CRS based on their education, employment history, language proficiency, and other aspects of their human capital.
A person’s CRS score is increased by 600 points when they receive a provincial nomination. Also, IRCC is considerably more inclined to issue them an ITA for permanent residence as a result.
