Canada’s five provinces conducted PNP draw and released this week’s PNP results. Ontario, Manitoba, Quebec, British Columbia, and Alberta issued ITAs to qualified applicants in this draw.
The patterns of immigration in Canada vary from province to province. A unique arrangement with the federal government allows Quebec to choose all its economic immigrants. Despite the fact that the majority of Canadian provinces and territories have Provincial Nomination Programs (PNPs).
As part of provincial immigration plans, provinces are able to focus their efforts on economic immigration applicants who are most likely to contribute to the growth and development of the labor force in the province. The PNPs often offer separate streams for agribusiness, health care, and information technology entrepreneurs.
