The two Provincial Nominee Program draws were held on September 28th which allowed B.C to invite 422 candidates.
British Columbia holds draws twice every month. This is because there are a lot of candidates credentialed by the British Columbia PNP Skills Immigration Register System. These candidates are also eligible for any skilled job required by the province’s labour market needs. In fact, BC has been holding bonus draws to bridge the employment gap in the province.
B.C Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) divides into two streams: Express Entry and Skills Immigration. Only the candidates who are eligible for these two streams can receive an invitation in the draw.
The score requirement range was between 69 to 90 points. In which 386 candidates were called for.
An occupation-specific draw was also held under these streams and only candidates who are skilled in NOC 0621 or NOC 0631. As a result, 36 invitations were issued to candidates who had scores above 105.
Since 2021, 9,083 invitations have been sent through different BC PNP streams to immigrate to Canada.
About British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program
This Pathway is focused on bringing international skilled workers who are wanted in the province to permanent residents in Canada.
The BC PNP has two migration streams called the Express Entry and Skills immigration, these two are further classified into two separate categories. These streams are overseen under B.C’s. Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). To be eligible for a SIRS, firstly you will be needed to enroll in a record. Whenever this is done, you will be relegated to a score dependent on components like training, work insight, and language abilities.
The most elevated scoring competitors from each sub-classification are then welcomed to apply for a common designation to apply for long-lasting residency when British Columbia conducts one of its ordinary draws.
AFter receiving the invitation, you will have 30 days from the issue date to complete the application available on the BC PNP official website.
When you present a total BC PNP application bundle you will be informed of the area’s choice within around a few months. On the contrary, having a legitimate job offer in Canada makes you qualified to seek Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for a PR status under the Provincial Nominee Class.
You have a time frame of 6 months from the affirmation date.
As a common candidate, you might get 600 extra focuses under the CRS and in this way have a score sufficiently high to get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) during a resulting government Express Entry draw.
