Another Express Entry Draw Held, Provincial Nominees Invited

By conducting regular express entry draws, Canada is sending the signal that it is still keen on welcoming new immigrants despite the crisis caused by the COVID-19 throughout the world. The new Express Entry Draw was held on April 15, 2020. This draw is conducted within a week of the previous EE Draw. And 118 new invitations have been issued by the IRCC for the Canadian Permanent Residency application. The Comprehensive Ranking System score required in order to receive an invitation was at least 808 points. All the candidates already had 600 points as they have had provincial nominations from the provinces of Canada.

How the CRS score is calculated?

When you submit your express entry profile, you are given a Comprehensive Ranking System score, which is eventually the determining factor for securing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. CRS score is dependent on the following factors:

Age
Education
Language proficiency
Foreign work experience
Canadian work experience
Canadian certificate of education

Higher the CRS score, the higher are chances to get an ITA for Canada PR.
