Another Express Entry Draw Held, Minimum Required CRS Score Increased

The government of Canada wants to welcome over one million new immigrants in the coming three years. Evidently, the Express Entry will be the leading immigration system to help attract newcomers in Canada. The Express Entry system holds frequent draws, possibly once every 15 days, to invite candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residence. The latest invitation round was held on March 4. The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada issued as many as 3,900 invitations to the candidates aspiring to become a permanent resident. The minimum required Comprehensive Ranking System score to get an Invitation to Apply was 471 in this draw. The score increased by 1 point from the previous draw that was held on 19 February and had a cut-off score of 470.

Those candidates who submitted their profiles in the express entry pool before the tie-break date and time and who got a score of 471 and above received the invitation from the IRCC to apply for permanent residency.

Application Process for the Canada Express Entry
