Alberta released details for another AINP draw

The province of Alberta conducted Provincial Nominee Program draw on May 27, 2020. It has recently released the details of this AINP draw. The AINP invited 148 candidates through the Alberta Express Entry Stream. So, only those candidates who had profiles in the express entry system got an invitation. Usually, Alberta invites candidates with a CRS score of 300 in most of the AINP draws. Alberta is famous for inviting express entry candidates with low Comprehensive Ranking System scores.

Alberta Express Entry Stream

Alberta nominates some of the qualified express entry candidates through the express entry stream. The province of Alberta directly contacts the talented express entry candidates and invites them to apply for a provincial nomination. The province prefers those candidates who can support economic growth.

What are your chances to qualify for AINP?

Each province prefers to select candidates with the right skills required for their economy. Likewise, each province has its own preference for the selection of candidates. AINP prefers the following candidates:

Candidates who have a job offer in Alberta
Candidates with genuine work experience
Candidates with a degree from a Canadian post-secondary academic institution
Candidates who have a parent, child or sibling living in Alberta

If you fulfill the above-mentioned requirements, you have a good chance to get invited by Alberta. By now this year, Alberta has invited 1,746 Express Entry candidates. However, Alberta has not disclosed the provincial nomination allocations for this year yet.
