The western province of Canada, Alberta, has recently conducted two Provincial Nominee Program draws. It has now released the details of both the draws.
The first draw was held on August 23 and it is one of the biggest AINP draws, as the province invited 450 candidates. The Comprehensive Ranking System score requirement was 300 only. Generally, in all the AINP draws, the cut-off CRS score remains 300.
Then, on August 29, Alberta issued another 400 invitations to express entry candidates with a CRS score of 301. The cut-off score went up by one point in this draw.
Alberta has invited 4,007 immigration candidates this year, including the results of these two draws. The province can issue 6,250 provincial nominations in 2021. So, it is yet to nominate nearly 2,000 more candidates by the end of this year.
Apply to the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program
Alberta selects candidates who are working in a profession that can help support the province’s “economic development and diversification priorities” through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program.
Candidates can apply through the following streams of the AINP to receive Alberta provincial nominee certificate:
- Alberta Express Entry Stream
- Alberta Opportunity Stream
- Alberta Self-Employed Farmer Stream
Alberta is a brilliant choice for those candidates who do not have exceptionally high CRS scores. Such candidates can immigrate to Canada through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).
