Prince Edward Island has invited economic class immigration candidates in a recent draw held on March 18. It has issued 150 invitations through all streams of PEI PNP. PEI has invited candidates through the Express Entry, Business Impact, and Labor Impact categories of its PNP. The province sent a total of 140 invitations to Labor Impact and Express Entry candidates and the remaining 10 to Business Impact candidates with a minimum provincial score of 70 points only.

Express Entry Category
The PEI Express Entry immigration category is linked with the federal government’s express entry system.
To receive a provincial nomination from Prince Edward Island, express entry candidates have to create an Expression of Interest profile separately for the PEI PNP.Then, the highest-scoring candidates in the PEI’s points grid are invited by the province to apply for a provincial nomination.In the latest PEI PNP draw, the province has neither disclosed the minimum EOI score that was needed to receive an invitation nor the number of invitations issued.
Labor Impact Category
If foreign nationals have a job offer from an employer based in PEI, they can apply through the Labor Impact Category. There are three streams in this category – International Graduate, Skilled Worker, and Critical Worker.
Business Impact Category
This category had a share of 10 invitations. The candidates required a minimum score of70 in the latest draw.
