The province of Saskatchewan has invited 452 candidates in the latest draw. Invitees are now eligible to receive provincial nomination under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.
Further, invited candidates are from the International Skilled Worker category of the SINP. Out of the total 452 candidates, 171 received invitations under the Express Entry stream, and the remaining 281 under the Occupations In-Demand stream.
Eligibility for SINP
Candidates required an Expression of Interest score of a minimum of 73 points in both subcategories. They must have submitted their Educational Credential Assessments. Also, candidates applying through the in-demand occupations stream required work experience in one of the targeted occupations.
SINP: Express Entry
The Express Entry sub-category of the SINP is aligned with the federal government’s Express Entry system.
In the latest draw, Saskatchewan has invited 171 candidates from the Express Entry pool. The minimum score required on the Points Assessment Grid in order to get an invitation through the express entry stream was 73.
Moreover, candidates in the express entry pool will get 600 points extra added to their CRS scores, if they successfully secure a nomination from the province of Saskatchewan.
SINP: Occupations In-Demand
Those candidates who do not have a profile in the express entry pool are permitted to apply under this category. Saskatchewan has issued 281 invitations to the Occupations In-Demand candidates. They required a score of 73 points in the Points Assessment Grid in order to be invited by Saskatchewan.
