The province of Saskatchewan had its latest round of draw that took place on the 27th of September, inviting candidates for Express Entry and PNP.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program invited 391 potential newcomers. They are allowed to apply for the two main immigration programs which are Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Program. Out of the 319 potential newcomers, 152 were eligible for the SINP Express Entry. Whereas the remaining 239 fell into the Occupations in demand classification.
To be eligible to rank in the Expression of Interest system, the least score was 71 in Saskatchewan.
In the recent draw, there were 61 occupations in each enlisted classification. The list contains all eligible jobs that can be searched on the official government website of Saskatchewan.
Both categories need Educational Credential Assessments to check whether their international education matches the Canadian standard of education or not.
What is Saskatchewan’s Express Entry sub-category?
This Express Entry sub-category is an evolved PNP program. It harmonizes with the federal Express Entry system and abides by it.
The immigration candidates procure the three crucial economical classified programs for migration which are: Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) as well. Express Entry System is responsible to manage and channelize the above-mentioned programs.
All the potential newcomers who have already created an Express Entry profile must also invest themselves in creating an Express of Interest profile. These EOI profiles will be examined by Saskatchewan, which will later support the candidate’s application to apply for a provincial nomination.
Each candidate selected for a provincial nomination receives 600 points added to their original CRS score. A CSR score is a Comprehensive Ranking System that is awarded to each candidate according to their eligibility to apply for a Canadian PR Visa.
What is the Occupations In-Demand subcategory?
This category is crafted for candidates ineligible for an Express Entry profile. In a way, it acts as a substitute. It is fundamental to a PNP.
This sub-classification is for exceptionally skilled professionals in the province of Saskatchewan with no job offers.
In order to be eligible for a Canadian migration through this sub-classification, candidates need to make an Expression of Interest profiles via SINP website.
Saskatchewan’s EOI allows the provincial government to choose newcomer candidates who can flourish in the region. Candidates are selected after they are evaluated on how their work experience, training, language proficiency, age, and connections with the region that showcase their skills and ability to get used to in Saskatchewan.
