Canada is providing flexibility in all immigration processes to help foreign nationals enter the country during the coronavirus pandemic.
Just recently, the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada has proclaimed that it will enact a temporary measure that will exempt certain temporary foreign workers from providing their biometrics before they arrive in Canada if the site for biometrics collection is closed due to coronavirus related service disruptions.

Temporary foreign workers belonging to sectors such as health-care, agri-food, and agriculture are part of this exemption list. Truck drivers are also exempt from giving biometrics.
The Immigration Ministry observes that several of these foreign workers have already provided their biometrics as many of them have previously worked in Canada. However, Canada will ensure the safety of the country by making sure that it collects biometrics for all temporary foreign workers.
