The province of Saskatchewan has already issued a total of 1,727 invitations this year. In the recent draw, held on February 25, Saskatchewan has invited 299 candidates who have registered themselves with the Express Entry System.
The province has invited candidates through the SINP’s International Skilled Worker immigration category and Express Entry sub-category.
Saskatchewan has selected only those immigration candidates who have work experience in one of the 70 selected occupations.
Some of the in-demand occupations in Saskatchewan are retail and wholesale buyers, geologists, and medical administrative assistants among others.
Invited candidates required a provincial score of a minimum of 70 points in the Saskatchewan’s ISW Points Assessment Grid.
As of now, the province of Saskatchewan has started giving more points to bilingual candidates, that is, people who can speak both English and French are eligible to score more points in Saskatchewan’s points assessment grid.
