The province of Quebec has invited 536 immigrants in the permanent selection application on September 30.
The second round of solicitations has been held in the month of September as a part of the QSWP(Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program.
Applicants who received their ITAs Invitation to Apply for permanent selection by MIFI in the recent draw will need a score of 562 in the Arimma draw.
The recent invitations were sent out through the Arrima have targeted applicants who have a job outside the metropolitan city of Montreal and also who are currently working in the jobs that are preferred right now.
Some of the jobs are listed below:
- Licensed practical nurses
- Nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates
- Early childhood educators and assistants
- Secondary school teachers
- Elementary school and kindergarten teachers
- Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
- The invitations are sent out at least once a month for the year.
However, the province of Quebec has caught up after sending out invitations in record numbers through the Arrima Draw. In the month of August, Quebec hosted Arrima draws weekly, in these draws the numbers of applicants crossed 500- this is highest compared to other draws that were conducted in the year.
The draw on September 30 is the tenth draw of the year. 3,200 in total candidates are now invited to apply for permanent selection by Quebec itself.
QSWP (Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program)
QSWP or the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program is a program for the skilled workers who are applying to be an asset towards the economy of Quebec. The program is successful among foreign graduates and skilled workers.
Invited candidates will have to apply for permanent selection after which they will be given a period of 60 days to present their application and pay the expenses for the processing. The province is determined to process applications in a period of six months. Starting date of the draw all the documents should be received which will include all documents and forms.
If the applicant succeeds, candidates will be given a CSQ. The applicants can then use the document for applying for PR.
People who want to settle down in Quebec will be evaluated under a different system, unlike the other candidates who wish to settle down in any other province. The immigration programs of Quebec are supervised by the province and are definite from Canada’s federal programs.
