With a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), overseas students in Canada can continue their education and begin establishing a career in Canada after finishing a post-secondary educational program. Here you will find the ways to apply for the Post-Graduation Work Permit and more about it.
An open work visa for up to three years is available to graduates from Canadian DLIs – (designated learning institutions). Graduates of the program are free to choose a job with any Canadian company of their choice even without an offer of employment.
It is true that a permit under this scheme may last up to three years, but how long the program was when the applicant graduated will determine the actual duration.
