Ontario is the most popular Canadian province among new immigrants. The province has opened a PNP draw on June 23. It invited express entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination.
The OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) issued 583 invitations through the HCP: Human Capital Priorities Stream. Invited candidates required to have a Comprehensive Ranking System score between 464 and 467.
The province released a list of 10 occupations. So, it invited applicants who have work experience in one of these occupations.
Following are the 10 targeted occupations:
- Managers in advertising, marketing, and public relations;
- Managers in banking, credit, and other investment occupations;
- Financial and investment analysts;
- Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses;
- Business service managers;
- Human resource professionals;
- Business development officers, marketing researchers, and consultants;
- Corporate sales managers;
- Business management consultants;
- Financial auditors and accountants.
This year, the province has been targeting these occupations under the HCP stream of the OINP draw.
OINP: Human Capital Priorities Stream
This immigration stream allows foreign workers with good language proficiency and required skilled work experience to apply for a provincial nomination through the OINP, and live in the province of Ontario after receiving a permanent resident status from the government of Canada.
Please note: A candidate needs to ensure that he or she has a valid Express Entry profile before applying to the OINP.
