The choice to leave your native country and immigrate to another can change your life. Canada offers a variety of immigration options if you decide to move to Canada from Turkey.
A key focus of Canada’s recruitment strategy is to hire the best and brightest individuals from around the world. Consequently, Express Entry programs such as the FSWP, the FSTP, and the CEC are among the most popular choices for immigration to Canada.
Express Entry
It is also important to note that, in accordance with the CRS, Express Entry candidates are ranked based on their performance in comparison with other candidates in the Express Entry pool. When a potential Express Entry candidate submits their profile to IRCC and determines if they qualify for one of the programs, they will receive a numerical score known as a CRS score. Candidates who have a CRS score of 80 or above are more likely to receive an ITA for permanent residency.
It is also possible to improve your CRS score if you have a sibling who resides in Canada. When you have a sibling who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident over 18, you will score 15 points higher on the CRS.
Federal Skilled Workers Program – (FSWP)
There are a number of Express Entry programs but unfortunately, the Federal Skilled Worker Program seems to be the most popular program among people who have no or little experience living or working in Canada.
To be eligible for the FSWP, you must meet a minimum set of criteria, including those related to your work history, education, and language skills, as well as human capital considerations such as your age.
Applicants must first determine their eligibility for the FSWP, as with all Express Entry programs.
- One year’s experience in a skilled occupation
- Their English or French language test must score at least 7 on the Canadian Language Benchmark
- One or more educational credentials
- Provide proof of funds, if required
- On the FSWP scoring grid, earn at least 67 points
Ways to apply for Express Entry
Start your application by creating and uploading your profile on the IRCC website if you are eligible. As soon as your profile has been uploaded, you will receive your CRS score and be added to the pool.
CRS scores will be used to rank the candidates based on their ability to perform and will be compared to each other in the regular rounds of selection.
A new Express Entry program has been launched by IRCC on July 6. It is common for draws to occur every two weeks. Because the CRS score varies with each draw. Even if you do not qualify for one, you may qualify for the next. IRCC standards require that applications be processed within six months. It is necessary that you file an application for permanent residence within 60 days of receiving an ITA.
Provincial Nomination to move to Canada from Turkey
Nominations by provinces can also increase your CRS rating. IRCC will greatly increase your chances of receiving an ITA by 600 points after you receive an ITA.
Among the provinces and territories, Quebec and Nunavut don’t have provincial nominee programs (PNPs). By taking advantage of these initiatives, provincial administrations can choose the candidates that are most suitable for their province.
An enhanced nomination procedure allows provinces to interview Express Entry candidates directly with their provincial administration. If they believe they best suit their province. No matter whether or not a candidate is part of Express Entry, they can apply directly to the province for consideration.
Study Permits
If you come to Canada as an international student but do not have a high enough CRS score to be taken into consideration for Express Entry. It is still feasible to gain important experience.
During the academic year in Canada, you can work up to 20 hours per week. And during study breaks, you can work full-time, provided you are still enrolled in your program.
If you finish your degree and want to work for up to three years while staying in Canada. Applying for a Post-Graduation Work Permit will be possible for you (PGWP). If you participate in a PGWP, you can gain employment, it counts towards your Express Entry CRS score. It is also the length of your program that determines how long your visa will be valid. But if it is three years or longer, you are allowed to work the entire time. The PGWP is not available for programs lasting fewer than eight months.
