IRCC conducts the third Express Entry draw of the week. This latest draw targeted candidates with French language proficiency, offering an additional pathway for Francophone immigrants to obtain permanent residence in Canada.
In this round, 2,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued to eligible candidates.
To qualify, candidates were required to have:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 481
- An Express Entry profile created before 5:16 a.m. UTC on July 18, 2025

The August 8 draw follows a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on August 7, a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on August 6, and a Healthcare and social services category-based draw on July 22.
So far in 2025, IRCC has issued 53,128 ITAs through the Express Entry system.
