33 immigrants were invited by Quebec to apply for permanent selection on November 11th.
The 1st round of solicitations for the month of November is being held under the QSWP or the Quebec regular skilled worker program.
The Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration, or MIFI have sent out invitations to the selected candidates for application to permanent selection that will be required to fill in the form for an EOI in the Arrima Draw.
The targeted candidates with a job offer outside the metropolitan city of Montreal region and the ones reading in Quebec as diplomats, consular officials, a UN representative, or a representative within the government, that operates in the province.
12th of the year and 2nd smallest draw that has been conducted by the province for the year 2021. Most of the draws have solicited 500 invitations in the second half of the year for the immigration candidates. 3,256 candidates in total have been invited for permanent selection application by the province.
The Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program or QSWP
Quebec’s regular skilled worker program is meant for the workers who have the skills and are likely to benefit the economy f of the province. The international students and the skilled workers who are looking to move to Quebec are fond of this program.
A time slot of 60 days is given to the candidates for the permanent selection application and to pay the processing fees. The aim of Quebec is to complete the process of the applications with a time span of 6 months, from the date of receiving an invitation, all the forms and documents are a part of this.
The candidate will receive a Quebec selection certificate if successful. Later the candidate may use the document to apply for a PR with the help of the Federal Government of Canada.
Candidates who are thinking of residing in Quebec will be assessed on different terms and systems compared to the applicants who are settling in other provinces of the country. The process of immigration for Quebec is administered by the province and is different from the government programs of Canada.
Admission targets of 2022 of Quebec
The targets that have been set for the next year 2022 have been released by Quebec. The new applicants are expected to come via the province’s economic immigration programs:
- Quebec Skilled Worker Program
- Quebec experience Program
The plan for 2022 for the selection is expected to be 49,500 to 52,500 immigrants for all the immigration categories listed, 18,000 solicitations have been set to arrive at the admission level that was not met by the central government in 2020 because of the pandemic. This denotes the plan-welcoming approximately 70,000 new immigrants to the plan for Quebec 2022.
