Canada names the first RCIP and FCIP designated employers. Both the RCIP (Rural Community Immigration Pilot) and FCIP (Francophone Community Immigration Pilot) are employer-driven permanent residence pathways.
To be eligible under these pilots, foreign nationals must have a valid job offer from an approved employer designated by an economic development organization in the participating community.
In the case of Timmins, employer designation is managed by the Timmins Economic Development Corporation.
