Finally, it has happened. The CRS cut-off threshold has gone down by 3 points from the previous express entry round that was held on 11th December. For the session of 2020-21, Canada has set larger targets to grant permanent residence to candidates through the Express Entry Immigration system. This is in line with the government’s multi-year immigration levels plan. Further, if estimates to be believed, this might result in larger draws and probably the draws would be held in quick succession. Thus, it can be assumed that the minimum CRS score required to get an invitation to apply for permanent residence will not go higher.
